Well, its Tuesday afternoon and I just finished updating my site for the PERL class I'm teaching tonight. It didn't take all of that time (from Monday morning until now) but I've had to work on it around different projects. We will be looking at how a form submits its data to a PERL program, and what the PERL program does with that data once it gets it. This class is not a programming class, it's an overview of assorted Web technologies, so we won't focus that much on the details of the PERL language or syntax - more on an overview of form processing. If students are really interested in forms processing the college offers a course in dynamic Web page development using Cold Fusion that is more likely to meet their needs.

I'm off to another meeting in a few minutes where we discuss what is working (and not working) in the distance learning arena at Montgomery College - that should be interesting since I am quite interested in distance learning.

Well, its Monday morning, and I was hoping we would have enough snow that I would be home right now watching the morning news shows in my slippers. Oh well! Not enough snow, so I'm in my office waiting for class to start. I wasn't sure what the driving would be like, so I left extra early this morning and now have about a half hour before classes start. One advantage was that I got a really god parking spot.

That's about it from here - I going to go and update my college Web site for tomorrow's class all about PERL and CGI-BIN processing of form data.
