Its Friday morning, and I just passed out a quiz about how to use DOS to create batch files - pretty exciting stuff! We had about four inches of snow overnight, so attendance is pretty light (frankly I'm surpised we are even open - but that was not my decision). When class started we had eight students (with 24 enrolled) but fortunately I decided long ago to drop the lowest quiz grade - so I'm guessing a lot of students have decided this will be their lowest quiz.

I haven't started the reading yet for Monday, but I have the whole weekend off (no outside commitments) so I expect to get a LOT of work done! Hope everyone is enjoying the snow, and I'll see you on Monday.

Sunday night and I'm exhausted! I spent much of the day with my mother (who is in the process of selling her house in Baltimore and moving to Roanoke Va. (where my sister lives). My mother closes on her old house on Thursday, and then she rents back for a month while she finishes moving out! It was a long day! I'm about to turn in, but thought I would post an extra entry this week since I forgot last week.

I wonder what we will be doing to make up the missed class. I am guessing we will just extend into the week of finals so we can cover all of the material. I hope we don't try to cram all of the missed material into other nights since it seems we have a pretty full schedule already!
